Minister of Civil Defence John Carter said yesterday donations of money were the quickest and easiest way to help organisations on the ground get what they need. New Zealand Red Cross, Australian Red Cross, British Red Cross and Irish Red Cross have each launched national appeals to raise desperately needed funds for the people of Christchurch.
